Hip, hip, hooray! Today is the last day of school!!!

We celebrated yesterday by having a water balloon fight tempered with ice cream and popsicles. We survived and thrived together during a challenging year of virtual learning. We provided social and emotional support to each other. I am proud of their resilience!

CCSR has been a highlight of my life, a full circle of service at the local, national, and international level! I am grateful for having created a purpose during a pandemic. I feel lucky that I got to be with the children and youth outdoors!

I guess the operative question now is – What’s next? In the near term, some of the mothers have requested that I facilitate a summer camp for the children in July and August. A lovely compliment! We’ll see.

In the long term, what will be the next step in my career?
